Les impacts sociaux d’un revenu minimum garanti. Nicole F.Bernier
How do individuals who receive a guaranteed minimum income change their
behaviours related to the workforce and the family? In this seminar,
the concepts of guaranteed minimum income and universal allowance were
presented and the differences clarified. Currently available information
on the possible impact of a guaranteed income on individuals, families,
and society was also presented. Finally, the seminar presented important
considerations to foresee the social impact and guide policy development.

NICOLE F. BERNIER
Nicole F. Bernier détient un doctorat en science politique
et s’est spécialisée en analyse des politiques de
sécurité du revenu. Elle poursuit ses recherches postdoctorales
avec le Groupe de recherche interdisciplinaire en santé (GRIS)
de l’Université de Montréal. Son livre Le désengagement
de l’État providence paraîtra sous peu aux Presses
de l’Université de Montréal.
