Description
The goal of this study was to determine whether inequalities in mortality
related to income had decreased since 1971. For general mortality
and for most specific causes, differences linked to income declined
significantly between 1971 and 1996. More detailed results show the
causes of death associated with decreasing, increasing or stable economic
disparity, by different periods.
