Description
To what extent, and how, do community-level characteristics such as
inequality and cohesion affect individuals' health, over and above
the influences of individual-level factors ? Methodologically the
proposed research will exploit existing data bases through secondary
data analyses of the Santé Québec Health Surveys of
1992-1993 and 1998 pertaining to people living in the Montreal metropolitan
area aged 14 years or older.
